I have never did a motorcycle chain in my life, I watched the video, went over the instructions, and watched the video as I was doing the job, & I think it turned out perfect, I hate to say it but I think I did a better job than the guy in the video, I think his name is Brian. LOL
I highly recommend this chain tool, I'm very happy I purchased this one, I was looking on Amazon at cheaper ones but decided this was best and it didn't disappoint, as long as you take the time to do it properly & read the instructions, the video will also help.

Tool is solid and all 3 functions work flawlessly. Definitely watch some videos before you try to use it. Not that hard, except I had issues with pressing the link, I didn't have it lined up right and kept pushing the roller pins out the back of the link. Happened 2 or 3 times before I got the right positioning. Now I feel I could do it flawlessly every single time. I'm not sure why people say it's hard to press out factory rivets, but with this tool it was super easy and I didn't grind any off. I had to break two factory links and one master link, because I had too many links and I had already riveted the master link. Definitely order at least one spare master link unless you feel completely comfortable putting on a new chain. Only cost like $7 for an extra link, but the wait time if you F it up is a few days and you'll be without your bike.

Watching the STG video helped me to understand this tool greatly before ordering, and upon arrival I noticed the tool is well built and operated as expected. If you're working with the bike on a stand, it may help to lower the bike or position your body above the tool during the final riveting process to gain better leverage over the PBR tool and your wrench so you can mushroom/flare the new rivet ends neatly with less effort.
