The Ultimate Motorcycle Chain Cleaning and Lubrication Kit
The Moto Chain-Mate is a new motorcycle maintenance tool kit which is used to help riders clean and lubricate their motorcycle chain effectively and efficiently.
The Moto Chain-Mate kit consists of a stable base plate where cleaning and lubrication agents are stored. Two telescopic rods extend from the base plate; these are used to position the chain bath directly under the motorcycle chain while on the center or rear stand. The rods adjust to the desired chain geometry (height and angle) as required. The kit is universal and can be used on left or right hand drive train set-ups.
On top of the rods lay the chain bath and overspray protection cap. The motorcycle chain runs between the bath and cap during the cleaning and lubrication process. This chamber prevents any overspray sticking to your tires, wheels, swingarms etc. Nozzle pressure from the clean and lube aerosol cans generates a swirling effect when sprayed directly in the chamber as the chain runs through the bath, this ensures all surfaces of the chain are nicely cleaned and lubed. The excess cleaning agent and lube run down the bath to drain where it is then collected in a catch bottle. A drip mat is also provided if needed during a heavy cleaning session to catch any excess drips that run off the chain.
The kit also comes with the Crud Brush. This is used to free up any crud and grime on during the chain cleaning process. Its large open 90 degree head allows for plenty of flexibility during the chain cleaning process. The opposite end of the brush consists of a sleek arrow head design which works its magic in tight confined spaces such as sprockets, swingarms and wheels.

great way to make a nasty job less gross
There's no getting around the fact that keeping a chain clean is going to require working with some pretty heinous chemicals, but this gizmo lets you do that work without having to either build a make-shift 'dexter kill room', or just suffer having your garage smell like a chemical spill involving mothballs, bananas, kerosene, and a myriad of chemicals you should definitely not be breathing. great product!

I have a 2014 fz09 and a 2002 yzfR1 and both are in excellent condition I'm always looking for parts upgrades and of course more tools I came across this product n purchased it n I can't wait to see how well this works I am in the process of putting my R1 back together was completed taken apart to have repainted to nothing but flat black as a gift for my wife again this product is amazing n will recommend this to anyone that likes to ride and is into speed what a difference this made on my fz09 thanks STG for another amazing product
