I've had some mixed results from Motul's line of cleaning products (i'm looking at you aluminum polish), but this insect remover is great. Just spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes, and then use a microfiber cloth to wipe all that bug jerky right off with no residue or discoloration - even on one of my bikes with a matte finish!
I've also found this stuff works really well on on riding gear. I've had great results getting bug guts off of some tricky surfaces like textile mesh and stretch panels on my leathers. As gentle as this cleaner seems to be on delicate pained finishes and fabrics, it has surprised me on how well it has cleaned off a few stubborn stains. I have a pair of boots with some white accordion leather panels and plastic hard parts. The plastic had gotten some black rubber scuff marks and the leather was stained with road grime and brake dust from the front wheel. The Motul insect remover got it all right off!
Bonus: it works great for getting bird crap off the car too - even if it's been baking in the sun for a few days.
Give this stuff a try. For the price, you can't go wrong - especially if you're just a few bucks shy of making that free shipping cut-off!
