Great Lightweight Mesh for Summer or Tropic

Posted by Charles Azurin on 23rd Jul 2024

I got an AGV mesh pant here before and they are great but weight a little too much for me not even though their protection is greater. These are fantastic lightweight pant for summer or tropic and only weigh about 0.8-1.0 lbs. I don't feel comfortable wearing sweats or jeans as I have fallen off before with only a pair of dockers. If I had these my flesh on my legs would have been unscathed. There is no excuse to ride without something like this as they are cooler than any other option. Well-constructed and material is not abrasive to your bare skin. It would be nice if they came in a SHORT length (28") opposed to the REG length (30 to 32"). Maybe they can make REG and SHORT in the future. Also, the elastic is great but pull tab at one side (R) would be a welcome addition and a bigger front pocket so you can get your hand in.

    Great value

The pants compare favorably to pants from other brands that sell for three or four times the price. This is not the first Noru product that I’ve bought, and it won’t be the last.

    Noru mesh pants

I like these mesh pants from Noru, They are lightweight and meant for hot weather riding which is what I was looking for. I am five feet nine inches tall at around one hundred sixtyfive pounds and the medium fits me really well, I currently have a thirty four inch waist BTW. Thanks to Cody for helping me select the proper size and definitely medium is spot on ! Robert

    Noru Kiryu mesh pants

Posted by Roberto H. on 8th Sep 2022

I recently ordered a pair of Noru Kiryu mesh pants, I didn't see a size chart so I reached out to STG and Cody suggested medium based on my size. I am five feet, nine inches tall and approx one hundred sixty pounds with a thirty four inch waist and medium fits me very well. The pants themselves are what I expected, lightweight but with decent protection but I will upgrade the padding to CE level 2 very soon. I have not ridden on them yet but it's very obvious they will offer plenty of air flow - good for hot weather riding and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks STG !

    Noru Kiryu mesh pants

Posted by Roberto Hertel on 1st Sep 2022

I just received a pair of these pants in the high-viz color, Order was received a few days after placing the order. I didn't see a size chart and was thinking of getting a medium and with input from Cody I went with that and turns out to be spot on for me. I am 5 feet nine inches, about one hundred sixty pounds with a thirty four inch waist, The waistline on the pants do stretch and in my opinion would still fir riders with a thirty five inch waist with no problem. Pants are very comfortable ( I can only compare to a leather riding pant I own ) I have not ridden on them yet but it's very clear they are made for hot , summer conditions as there are plenty of perforations so air flow will be great, Keep in mind these are lightweight pants but still offer some protection, these come with CE rated pads on the knees and some light padding on the outside of the thigh area, There are pockets for hip armor though and since I already had an extra pair of hip pads (D30) they slipped right in, I would highly recommend adding pads in the hips, I will also most likely upgrade the knee pads to CE level 2 very soon. I don't believe these can come close to offering the level of protection leather pants provide but that's not really a fair comparison. I'm also very happy with the price I paid for them. BTW Thanks Cody for your help with sizing.
