The Pirelli Angel GT Tires are Certified by the authoritative independent body, Motorrad TestCenter, as the tire with the highest mileage in its segment, the most recent addition to the Pirelli family, the Angel GT Sport Touring Tire, boasts a sports pedigree typical of Pirelli products and high performance on dry roads as well as wet for the entire life cycle of the tire.
Compared to its predecessor, the Angel GT increases mileage by 30%, reduces the braking distance by about 1 meter (at a speed of 47 mph), also improving grip and handling in the wet, and, even more importantly, manages to maintain these characteristics at a high level over time.
And so, with the name it chose for this product Pirelli decided to maintain a clear connection to the winning tire, highlighting the evolution toward a product dedicated to long distances which maintains the typical sport spirit of Pirelli with the abbreviation GT. This is why Angel GT is 100% Italian Gran Turismo, an ideal tire for those riders who travel long distances with a passenger and the bike fully loaded, or who simply take a ride in the country, but also for those who use their bikes all year round, both for recreation and commuting.

Best sport touring tire I've had
My second set of these tires. My last set I had put 12,000 miles on the rear and 13,500 on the front with spirited driving habits. These tires do great in the rain and phenomenal in dry days. They handle well on ground down asphalt too. Only problem I see is that the contour of the road will eat the side of the tire, make sure to inflate your tires properly.

Sport touring goodness
My Aprilia Futura responds very well to the Angel GTs. Wet and dry grip, turn-in, response and feedback are all great and what I am looking for in ST tires. Only negative is tire wear. At 5,300 mostly commuting miles I'm looking to replace the set already. My bike isn't that heavy and I keep the pressures up. Otherwise, these are great tires for this bike.

Performance and Style
2016 Z1000 So far got 50 miles on these. Rode in 50 degree fahrenheit weather. Pretty sticky, got on throttle about 75% of the line, no slipping. Love the look of these. Not the best for Rain, get Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires if riding in rain most of the time. BUT for the money, performance and looks, these are the best in my opinion.
