    Great tire

Great tire for off season trackdays and spirited street riding. Watch it doesn't freeze.

Good enough to try a 2nd set

Posted by RTW on 6th Dec 2021

This is the 2nd set I’ll be running on a ‘15 Superduke R. Compared to the Q3+, these make the bike turn in quicker, and easier to hold a tight line at exit. They do require more rider input control, steering sensitivity, and focus for me. Once at full lean they are grippier and give better feedback. Brake-turn-throttle-lift all happens quicker, like the tire just wants to get down to then off of the sticky edge rubber as fast as possible…That said, it’s an amazing change from stock. I anticipate it’ll be even better at stock fork height and with a 200 rear.

Grip Better Because Brian Van Sold Them to Me

Posted by Jesse on 28th Apr 2021

I ran these tires my CBR1000RR years ago and they were grippy & confidence inspiring. When deciding to replace the tires on my R1M, I thought about going to the Michelin, but my gut kept telling me to go with the Pirelli. Compounded by the fact Brian Van sold them to me only adds to the grip.

The Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II is great everyday tire to ride aggressively on the streets and take it to the track. Definitely recommend It. Thanks

    Excellent street tire

Posted by Zeke on 2nd Jun 2020

One level "down" from the factory race tire that came w/ my Hypermotard SP -- factory race tire only gets a couple K miles whereas this one I'm getting ~5-6k miles. Tire feel is brilliant and still very sporty.

    Amazing street sport tires

I was originally planning to get the S22s, but availability has been spotty. I did some research and found that these have a very similar concept. Lots of different compounds and a really sticky shoulder. Since I love my Pirelli Angel GT II on my naked bike, I felt good with the brand. Not at all disappointed. This have a really perfect set of features for me. - They have a very tall profile similar to a slick tire. This means they turn in very smoothly and quickly and feel great. - The carcass is medium stiffness. I prefer a more stiff carcass so the tire doesn't wallow and deform too much when the pressures and temps are lower. - The carbon black shoulder compound is really sticky. Easily as sticky as a more track focused tire like an RS11 or Supercorsa. - I like that there's no tread on the shoulder. - In theory, the lifespan should be much better than a RS11 or Supercorsa. Haven't gotten that far yet, but so far the centers are wearing well. The stock RS11s that came with my GSXR-1000R lasted a pathetic 1200mi, and these are pretty close to that already and look like they have 4x the life. Compared to Michelin 2CTs I ran for awhile on my R6, these feel much better and more grippy as well. I put these Pirellis on both the R6 and GSXR. I will say that there's a minor bit of cold tearing on the rear R6 tire running 34 PSI, so I'll probably drop it 2 PSI to warm them up a bit. No issues with the GSXR, probably due to the massive torque it has. It keeps the rear toasty. Since I now have Pirellis on all three of my bikes and love them, I'll probably stick with this brand.
