I bought one for my old 09 r6. It looked good. But the foot part seemed small. Well for the 2015 R1 they've widened the foot base. What an improvement.

Poor design
I have a 2016 R1 that i put this kickstand on and was disappointed to spend this money on a mediocre kickstand. This kickstand looks to be very good quality and is made of good materials, but the design/fitment of it wasn’t good at all. The foot doesnt sit anywhere close to flush on the ground. Bottom foot sits at a sharp angle to the ground like its manufactered wrong. No adjustment can be made to have it sit flat on the ground when the stand is down, making it slightly unstable and will chip up concrete garage floor with the sharp edge digging into the ground as if its not made for my bike.
