PSR Yamaha YZF-R1 99-24 Magnetic Oil Drain Bolt

Fits perfectly, good magnet, easy to reach holes in each face of bolt head for safety wire, comes with new crush washer and safety wire/clip/tubing/ clip. The wired and “tubed” safety clip set-up won’t work on the oil drain plug due to its location vs. the exhaust, but I use it on my filler cap. Very cool! I recommend.

Bought this so I could safety wire the bike with ease. I was unaware that it came with a mounting bracket and safety wire already on ready to rock so that was an added bonus! Made the install even faster with all the work already done. Great product!

How much can you say about an oil drain bolt? Not much really, but PSR is an exception. Beautiful machining, design, packaging, and magnetic! Always go for a drain plug that incorporates a magnetic to keep your engine as clean as possible. It just makes sense. Also, I love that’s it’s pre-drilled and comes already safety wired with a cotter pin for making the job of changing the oil a snap.

For the cost of a pound of safety wire and the speciality pliers, buy yourself the PSR filler cap and magnetic drain bolt. It looks trick, is tech inspection approved and saves time fooling around with a drill, wire and speciality pliers. The mag drain bolt comes with extra crush bonded washers for oil changes.
