The R&G tank grips are similar to the no-slip stickers you would see in bathtubs and outdoor deck steps. Thin & functional unlike some tank grips that are just too bulky and weigh about a pound and a half. These also will not tear into your leathers and are very comfortable. Only notable when you need extra grip and stay put the first time.

Good Tankgrip
Purchased a 2016 R1 recently as a replacement to my 600RR that I raced last year. Been dealing with STG for awhile now and have been very satisfied with their service and communication. As for the R&G tank grip... I'm pretty satisfied with it so far. Haven't had it on the track yet, but I like the way it adhered to the bike. I ran STOMPGRIP on my Honda. I wanted to go with something that protruded a bit less. It was also important for me to have more grip lower... which is why I went with the 4 piece. Very satisfied with feel and fit so far. Price was cheaper than the other options which is always a plus.
