Nice warm weather glove with a comfortable interior.

I was in need of a summer glove but am pretty picky. I don't like hard armor over the knuckles and I don't like feeling a whole ton of seams on the inside. My prior pair that needed replaced were basically motocross gloves with some street-oriented features and my search was looking in that direction again. Then I found the Racer Guides. Mostly leather construction and hard palm sliders made for an appealing upgrade on slide protection. But what really sold me on spending the money was the mcFIT liner. It is a breathable liner that is adhered to the inside of the glove which promised a soft uniform feel against my hands. I ordered a size Large which fit me perfectly after a couple days of break-in. For reference my palm measures 8 1/2" almost exactly at the widest point and my middle finger is 7 1/2" from the base of the palm. The mcFIT liner completely addresses my usual complaints about seams but still lets air through the perforations. The first ride was a little stiff, but once broken in they move very well and don't restrict my feel of the controls. The gloves have clean stitching and seem well-constructed so I'd trust in them in a slide. The armor has good coverage of the knuckles but is flexible TPU so it will only offer a little impact protection, and that's a risk I accept wearing a glove like this. My main nitpick is that there is no capacitive touch on the fingertips. I believe these gloves have been on the market unchanged for a number of years so I would like to see an update to include that for phone use. One other minor squabble is the shape of the right thumb. The liner is shaped normally and fits nice and snug against my thumb, but the leather continues and comes to a point. If this were my left thumb it would interfere with the feel of the turn signal switch, but being on the right and only used on the bike for the starter it doesn't create an issue. The left thumb's leather cuts much closer to the shape of the liner. I have about 1,000 miles on the gloves now and am very happy. These gloves fit well, are put together well, and have a unique set of features that made them very attractive to me. I am very glad those features added up to a pair of gloves that were worth the money. Now to see how long they hold up!

Measurements are a large. Fit snug with excellent articulation. Love the liner. Most comfortable pair of gloves yet.

Bought these in size L, which is what the chart indicated, but found they ran small. Tag says L/9, meaning size 9. Exchanged for an XL, which is tagged as XL/10. Fit is as expected from a size 10. A bit long in the finger for me but no big deal. I chose these specifically because they have hard palm protectors (Knox). Having crashed twice at the track wearing the same pair of Racer High Speed gauntlets, I know first hand how important these are... both times the palm sliders did what they're supposed to do. Note: these gloves are not touch-screen compatible. There are ways around this... do some googling. I went with stuff I had on hand... I poked some tiny holes in the fingertip with a push pin and applied a generous amount of graphite lock lubricant. Once the volatile carrier evaporates and you wipe off the excess graphite from the fingertip, it works acceptably.

Big fan of Racer gloves (I use the top-of-the-line High Speed glove on the track). Got these today for street riding and a heads-up: they run a bit small so you might bump up a size. The label for L also says size 9. I'm a 10, so I sent them back for an exchange. Initial impressions are good and on par with my race gloves. Taking a star off only because the sizing information on the site doesn't quite give the true picture. A note here... I bought these gloves because they have Knox sliders on the palm. I've crashed twice on track using my Racer gauntlets, and the Knox sliders absolutely prevented a nasty outcome on my palm.
