Racer High Speed Gloves Review and Sizing Info from STG
- The Racer High Speed Gloves run just a bit large when using their size chart. I measured out at 10.5" which would be a XXX-Large according to the Racer Glove Size Chart. After trying both the XXX-Large and XX-Large I found the best fit with the XX-Large. - Brian Van
- The Racer High Speed Gloves delivered as advertised for me. I have ridden in them multiple times during the 2017 season (1st time was the Road Racing World 1000cc Superbike Shootout) and can report with confidence they are very comfortable, requiring almost no break in at all. The feel is excellent and I feel the level of protection is solid. - Brian Van
- These gloves will deliver the performance and protection needed for any level of motorcycle racing, track day riding or street riding.

Still highly recommended after 12k miles!
I've had these through about 2.5 seasons and ~12k miles. Really happy with them. My hands measure 9.5" in the palm, and 8" in length. By the size chart, this would put me right at XL. I purchased both XL,and 2XL. I ended up keeping the 2XL and they fit perfect. Make sure you test the fit holding on to your handlebars, as this can be quite different than with your hands at rest. I don't notice that the "venting" does much, but I didn't really expect it too. I've notice no wear so far. The gauntlet is wide enough to fit over an Aerostich Roadcrafter suit. The extra large Aerostich "lobster claw" rain gloves fit over, but without much extra space to spare. Yes they are expensive. My recommendation is to buy once, cry once and then enjoy excellent gloves for years to come. FWIW I'm riding a Councours C14 and typically do lots of short rural rides.

Nice materials, old methods
The materials are top notch. These gloves have every bit of protection you can imagine. They are super flexible and the materials are soft and feel nice. The downside: the seams on the ends of the fingers fold in, so you're always feeling a lip press against the end of your fingernail. It's very distracting while riding.

Racer High Speed Gloves
Well made gloves with all the right features, but the only gloves I've ever worn that were actually painful. After a few minutes, I have to start sliding my fingers back and forth as much as I can or the pain to the knuckles on both ring fingers becomes excruciating. I pull over regularly just to get these off for a few minutes. It's been over two years and isn't getting any better. No other glove has ever done this.

Racer High Speed Gloves
These gloves fit! Thanks to the short video that really explains the product and fit, I chose the gloves that fit correctly. I would have tried a smaller size but between the video explanation and the sizing chart, I made the right choice and they fit incredibly well. The pinky is just a little long, about 1cm, but I think it may be my finger is a little short. I have only used them once on a short ride but I did not have any problems with fit or pain in any areas. The gloves slide on and off with relative ease as I think they should. The material, stitching and overall quality is amazing! I can't wait for another ride so they get broken in and get even more comfortable. Also would like to say thank you for the staff that was able to help with using a gift card that I received from my work. It was a little tricky but they walked me through the process without any issues. The next gift card is coming soon and a new pair of boots in on the radar... from STG of course! Thank you all at STG!!!

great gloves with a flaw
Had a pair years agi and decided for another go with this model. My gripe and one I hope remedies itself over break-in, is the interior stitching will get caught under my finger nails when pulling the clutch. Kind of painful as it pulls up right at the edge. Not an issue with brake, however clutch hits the middle finger almost every time.

Almost Perfect
I absolutely love everything about these gloves except for the stitching. I'm on my 4th set in the last 3 years. 3 of those had finger stitching fail. Failure as in your finger is exposed. 2 of which failed during normal use. My most recent pair had stitching fail during a crash. I had only worn this pair for maybe 3-4 hours before the crash. If they could somehow reinforce/improve their stitching, these would be the perfect gloves!

Amazing gloves!
So, I had to return these just because of the sizing. I am an asian male and the thumb space was too long for me, however, it wasn't excessively long like modern Alpine Stars. The build on these is amazing and I think everyone should try these on! Great ventilation, good blend of leather, supple leather esp if you break them in, and the protection ticks all the boxes.

RACER HIGH SPEED GLOVES
I haven't ridden in them yet, bike is put away for winter, so I can't speak to how they work while riding. Just wearing them at home they are very, very nice. I'm a size 3X in sport gloves and even then I've sent a few back that are too small. Measured my hand according to Racer's size chart and around the palm I'm a 2X but for length I'm solidly a 3X. Went with the larger size and I'm happy with the fit. Fingertips just brush the inside ends of the glove on the first three fingers. Thumb and little finger have a little extra length but fit perfect when I hold the bars. Pulling the palm up snug to my hand as I wrap my fingers around the grips takes up the extra length of the thumb and little finger. There's more room in the body of the glove than any gloves I've owned before. For sure comfortable and the panel on the back of the hand that normally tapers toward the wrist is almost as wide as the glove's knuckles. This makes the glove opening larger than other gloves I've used and makes getting them on and off super easy. There is a bit more wrinkling on the back base of the hand where the wrist strap cinches down than other gloves but I think that's the price you pay for having the ease of entry. There is no wrinkling on the palm side and I don't think it will affect the glove's function at all. They appear very well made. No loose threads or poor stitching. I was surprised at how soft they are. This is my first pair of gloves with kangaroo palms. Like butter. They remind me of new deerskin work gloves I've had but maybe even a bit more supple. Also my first gloves with any exterior seams. I can tell how that helps make the glove more comfortable and also gives more room in the fingers. The Knox SPS system is lower profile than I expected. I can't really feel the Knox inserts with the glove on so I think those won't be an issue. Gauntlets are big enough to fit over any of the jackets I wear. So far I'm impressed. Can't wait to take them for a ride.
