Racer High Speed Gloves Review and Sizing Info from STG
The Racer High Speed Gloves run just a bit large when using their size chart. I measured out at 10.5" which would be a XXX-Large according to the Racer Glove Size Chart. After trying both the XXX-Large and XX-Large I found the best fit with the XX-Large. - Brian Van
The Racer High Speed Gloves delivered as advertised for me. I have ridden in them multiple times during the 2017 season (1st time was the Road Racing World 1000cc Superbike Shootout) and can report with confidence they are very comfortable, requiring almost no break in at all. The feel is excellent and I feel the level of protection is solid. - Brian Van

Amazing gloves!
So, I had to return these just because of the sizing. I am an asian male and the thumb space was too long for me, however, it wasn't excessively long like modern Alpine Stars. The build on these is amazing and I think everyone should try these on! Great ventilation, good blend of leather, supple leather esp if you break them in, and the protection ticks all the boxes.

RACER HIGH SPEED GLOVES
I haven't ridden in them yet, bike is put away for winter, so I can't speak to how they work while riding. Just wearing them at home they are very, very nice. I'm a size 3X in sport gloves and even then I've sent a few back that are too small. Measured my hand according to Racer's size chart and around the palm I'm a 2X but for length I'm solidly a 3X. Went with the larger size and I'm happy with the fit. Fingertips just brush the inside ends of the glove on the first three fingers. Thumb and little finger have a little extra length but fit perfect when I hold the bars. Pulling the palm up snug to my hand as I wrap my fingers around the grips takes up the extra length of the thumb and little finger. There's more room in the body of the glove than any gloves I've owned before. For sure comfortable and the panel on the back of the hand that normally tapers toward the wrist is almost as wide as the glove's knuckles. This makes the glove opening larger than other gloves I've used and makes getting them on and off super easy. There is a bit more wrinkling on the back base of the hand where the wrist strap cinches down than other gloves but I think that's the price you pay for having the ease of entry. There is no wrinkling on the palm side and I don't think it will affect the glove's function at all. They appear very well made. No loose threads or poor stitching. I was surprised at how soft they are. This is my first pair of gloves with kangaroo palms. Like butter. They remind me of new deerskin work gloves I've had but maybe even a bit more supple. Also my first gloves with any exterior seams. I can tell how that helps make the glove more comfortable and also gives more room in the fingers. The Knox SPS system is lower profile than I expected. I can't really feel the Knox inserts with the glove on so I think those won't be an issue. Gauntlets are big enough to fit over any of the jackets I wear. So far I'm impressed. Can't wait to take them for a ride.

Might be great, but seams get under fingernails, had to return
The fit and finish of these gloves is spot-on and they were immediately comfortable. BUT the seams inside the finger tips stick out too far and every time I move my fingers up and down, my fingernails catch on the seams. I trimmed back my fingernails all the way and they still catch every time. I put them on and tested them on the handlebars on my bike in the garage and every time I reach for the brake or clutch, my fingernails catch on the seams. I tried returning for larger size and then a second pair of the original size, all three had the same problem of the interior seams sticking out too far and catching on my fingernails. It's a shame because otherwise these gloves are amazing for the price.

Fit Great!
These fit really nicely right out of the bag. Ever so slightly snug, so will break in very quickly. No hot spots. Feel well made and protective. 8 1/2" circumference and 7 1/4" finger length. Ordered the Medium. Perfect!!

Racer High Speed Gloves review
After reading about many different brands of protective gloves for track riding, I eventually settled on the Racer High Speed. They have many of the qualities I was looking for in a glove including protection, comfort and ease of putting them on and taking them off. The gauntlets are great - they're plenty large enough for any size race suit or jacket and they snug down. The other velcro closure is easy and quick to use. You can get these gloves on in about 5 seconds max. Fit is as expected. I took a 2XL and it fits me well although a couple of the fingers are slightly longer than optimum - not an issue though. I've been wearing them around the house to break them in. They're not quite there yet but getting more comfortable every time I put them on. I'm sure by the time my next track day comes, they'll be great. I got the white / black and they're quite attractive. I also just love the kangaroo palms. I'm quite pleased with the purchase. The service from Sportbike Track Gear was first rate. I got the gloves two days after ordering them! Thank you for your assistance and I look forward to using these gloves for a long time!

Racer Hi Speed Gloves
The STG and online reviews are spot on. True to fit sizing, just right after break-in, comfortable, hi quality construction. Will buy another pair if I wear these out.

Seams Open Up
I love the fit and feel of these gloves. Unfortunately, however, my seamstress-capable wife has had to make three separate repairs to finger seams that opened up. The first repair was after wearing the gloves for two track days and two race weekends. The second repair was after a few more days of track use and, now, the third repair is after a total of only ten days of track use. Finger seams on both gloves have fallen apart. I haven't crashed, the gloves fit well and I don't have fat fingers. The problem is that the thread (cotton) on the finger seams breaks and then the seams unravel because of the nature of the stitch used. In light of what these gloves cost, this is really unacceptable.

I finally found a comfortable glove!
Each gauntlet glove I've tried from Alpinestars, Cortech, RS Taichi, and RST were OK in some spots, but uncomfortable in others (great fit in the thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers, but too short in the pinkie; great fit around my knuckles but too short fingertip to palm; etc.). I've read a couple reviews of the Racer High Speed gloves and decided to give them a shot. A wise decision! I feel the size chart is spot-on. My measurements were in between XL and 2XL, so I chose the larger size and these gloves feel fantastic! The Racer High Speed gloves look great and are incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend!
