RS Taichi GP-EVO R Racing Glove NXT055

RS Taichi continues to impress with this glove. It does run smaller than most other gloves. I normally wear an XL, but because of large palms, a 2X is a snug fits and a 3X is what I use when I want more room for a glove liner on a cool day. The quality of this glove is remarkable.

Picked these up after watching a few videos from Brian Van, especially the full gauntlet shootout video. I trust Japanese-brand vehicles and products due to the legendary reputation of their work ethic and companies like Toyota/Honda. The gauntlet required no break-in period at all, and felt like premium, perforated leather I could ride comfortably in any weather. Bought a Large which normally fits flawlessly. The middle finger is ever so slightly too tight at full extension and the pinky is slightly too long. I'm keeping them, I don't care about the pinky and the middle finger will break in with use. The rest of the fit is perfect. This feels like superior protection with full dexterity that will last a long time and looks great. Expensive, but worth every penny. My first order from STG, shipped quick, no damage and arrived in time for my motorcycle safety class. Love the videos and the product, keep up the great work and thanks for having this stuff in stock, RS Taichi isn't easy to find. STG will be my first stop for gear from now on.

Great fit out of the box. Very flexible for a heavily armored glove. Very secure fit with the diagonal pull tab. Really locks snugly onto your hand.

After running Alpinestars GP Pros for the past decade, I’ve finally given up on them due to having build quality issues on several pairs. Some have fallen apart in under a year. I tried Dainese’s Full Metal 6 gloves, but they felt huge, and greatly hindered dexterity. They were promptly returned. Next up I tried the RS Taichi Evo-Rs and all I can say is “Wow.” They fit awesome right out of the box, and with very little break in, they now feel even better. They offer more protection than my old GP Pros but somehow manage to not hinder the dexterity and hand movement at all. The feel on the controls is excellent and they look killer. I think I’ve found the gloves I’ll be running for the next decade!

Purchased the gloves based on the STG glove selection guide. They are excellent - leather is soft and comfortable while delivering enough feel and dexterity. Followed Brian's glove fitting guide video when they first came in and the process was right on.

Great fit, little to no break-in. The tie down strap is great for holding your hands deep in the glove. Straps are very strong and wrapping too tight can cut your circulation. Just loosen a bit, still plenty tight to feel solid. The gloves feels so comfortable it’s hard to believe it’s a track glove.

I’ve been wearing my old joe rocket gloves for 10 years for road riding, track days, and a season of racing. I always wanted more protection, but the hard knuckle protectors on the race gloves have always been too narrow. Finally a full on glove that’s comfortable for me. FWIW I’m a 9.5-9.75” around the wide part of my hand and 8” in length from wrist to tip of middle finger and these fit perfect.

Used these for5 trackdays a 1 lowside so far. Zero break in required. Good protection, great wrist flexibility. The kangaroo leather is so soft and supple that I was sure it would tear on the first crash. Nope, palm sliders worked perfectly allowing my to more or less control my slide and keep from tumbling. Zero damage to palm material or stitching. My only complaint is slightly to much finger length but that is a personal fitment issue, and it's not so long that I can't use them comfortably, just being nit picky. Definitely worth the money.

Have ridden in these gloves about 20 times or so. The leather is incredibly soft and they are very comfortable. Josh was a huge help when I called in getting me into the right size glove. Had I followed the size chart I would have ordered a size large. I ordered the medium with help from Josh and they fit well plenty of finger length. These are the most comfortable gloves I have owned. Feel very protective and well made but only time will tell. Thanks for the great customer service!
