Awesome gloves
Finally found that perfect blend of protection, dexterity, easy to put on and take off as well as aesthetics that I have been looking for. Size chart is right on with XL with my 9.5" knuckles. Finger and thumb lengths are spot on with no discomfort and still great feel of the controls. The materials are high quality, but I really dig the protective features. I won't wear a glove without some sort of palm slider and Knox are the best. Wrist and ulna protection is very welcome. I can also use my Android phones which is a nice plus. Only thing that wasn't very clear from the description is that there are some perforations in-between the fingers. Not enough ventilation to really make a difference on a hot day, but noticeable enough when it is cold. Will probably need other gloves when the temperature is extreme in either direction, but for now these things are about perfect. These are my first RS Taichi gloves and they have made me a believer.

Great Gloves
I've owned at least 3 pairs of these gloves over the last few years. They are well built, good leather, and have a lot of protection. These are some of the most comfortable gloves I have worn. The armor pieces can flex off of the glove when wrapped around bars, so they don't cause pressure points. Typically, I put gloves on and off about 4 times a day, (ride to work, to lunch, back to work, home) which is a lot of extra wear on the gloves, and why I go through them faster than most. The wear point is the stitching. Once I see it start to give in the palm, I order a new pair. That's been the first spot to go every time.

Very Protective Short Gloves
The glove have a very good protection for a short glove. There are a lot of pros for this glove but there is also some cons. Pros: The knuckles, fingers and wrist are protected with carbon fibres backed with some foam padding. There are plastic sliders on the palm which is a bit rare on short glove. The palm is made with full leather with extra synthetic leather stitched to the area that make contact with the handle bar. Lastly, the lining inside the glove is very soft and comfortable compared with my other glove (Alpinestars SP 2). Cons: The sizing is one size small, so follow the size chart and go one size up. My hand is measured 23 cm and I went with size L (24 cm) to get a perfect fit. There is no ventilation holes on the gloves so the palms get sweaty in hot weather. But the knees are not weak. I live in Straya (Australia), during summer the temp goes up to 37 - 40 degrees. A bit of ventilation inside the glove would be better for summer riding. Lastly, the glove is a bit thicc compared with my other glove (SP 2). It need a bit of time to get used to it. I would give this glove 5 star rating but the lack of ventilation makes the glove not the best option for the hottest days of summer.

RST422
Good protection for a short glove, typical Taichi fit, run small, use their measuring chart and go by the finger length and the palm should work. Not the best feel in the palms, they have a liner through out the entire glove. This is the first non racing glove I have purchased so it will take getting used to the extra bulk. All in all they are comfortable and should be fine for everyday riding.
