RS TAICHI RSS008 BOA WRAP AIR RIDING SHOES
I was a 46 in the previous version of the riding shoe ( using laces) . I'm a 46 in Sidi as well. A 46 in this shoe was too big. The 45 is perfect. The BOA lace system is very convenient.

Nice Shoe
This shoe is very comfortable and light weight. It can be worn all day if need be. Looks great and by far worth the money.

Awesome Summer Riding
This shoe is fantastic for hot weather riding, but it's a rare, hard to find product that requires some explanation. Probably no one you know has these shoes, so read on... First of all, what the heck is Taichi? They are a high quality Japanese brand which is not normally stocked in your favorite moto gear store---thankfully SportBikeTrackGear has a great selection. I've been a huge fan of the Taichi Delta BOA riding shoes because they are super quick to get in/out of, with the twisty knob that secures them quickly on your feet, like some ski boots. I detest dangling shoe laces on riding boots, ever since my laces got caught on my pegs one time. The drawback of the Delta BOAs has been, they are full synthetic "leather" so quite hot in summer weather. This shoe is the exact same design, but with a mesh that breathes like nothing else. Wind whips through them and cools your feet---aaaah! So you're asking, what's with the odd cover with the zipper? I actually ran into a Taichi rep at the Austin COA and here's what I learned: The mesh that they wove to make the shoe breathe so well has one big drawback: it can get worn down or snag on something that it comes in contact with. So they put this lightweight covering over the underlying mesh, which still allows the boot to breathe but it then is protected against abrasion. So the covering is made in different patterns and colors. I think the camo looks cool but I got the black/red to go with my bike and jacket. The boot itself is well armored and has a nice sturdy contact patch for the left foot. I like that they feel sturdy and supportive, and are fairly rigid, but surprisingly comfortable. Sometimes I even wear these into work and don't even bother changing to street shoes. Keep in mind, these are warmer weather shoes, but I haven't found anything that vents like these do.
