The RS Taichi Windstopper Inner Suit NXU914 is constructed of elastic WINDSTOPPER® nylon fabric which is designed to block the wind and cold. This inner suit is breathable and incorporates a spandex knit on the back and waist and stretch material on the waist and ankle for a secure, comfortable fit.

RS TAICHI WINDSTOPPER INNER SUIT - NXU914
I purchased this as a replacement for my decade-old Taichi NXU904, which has served me exceptionally well. However, after losing 70 lbs, I have had to switch all my gear out from size 58 to 52. The NXU814 retrains many of the original features of the old 904, and improves in several areas. Where the old suit had a neoprene throat flap and a straight double-ended zipper, the new suit has an asymmetric, double-ended zipper that ends off to the side of your throat- much more comfortable. The neoprene panel has been replaced by a thinner and more conformal double layer of Windstopper material. The suit is comfortable under my correctly fitting Dainese one piece and two piece suits. The old suit was rather prone to snagging and wearing where it might touch Velcro- the new suit seems less susceptible to catching Velcro. Finally, the suit is a bit tight in the crotch when standing up, typical for most gear of this type. It's fine in a riding position.
