The Shoei CWR-F Pinlock Ready Shield with tear off posts comes standard on the Shoei X-Fourteen Helmet.

This shield can also be used on the Shoei RF-1200 Helmet if you would like to use race tear-offs
The shield surface is flat so tear offs can lay across the viewing port, comes with tear off buttons and works in conjunction with DKS 303 Pinlock inserts
Scratch resistance coating and nearly 100% UVA & UVB protection

Since the X-fourteen doesn't come with a smoke shield, this upgrade is a must. The lend provides the right amount of shade, and perfect clarity.

Replacement shield for my Shoei X14. Owning several other brands of lids this is definitely a step above the competition in quality and thickness. Definitely worth the extra money over the competitors offerings. This is my 1st Shoei and it doesn't disappoint.

Got the one with tearoff posts for dedicated track use and keep one tearoff on while I add a second one every other event to keep the visor from debris damage.
