The Shoei Neotec II Helmet is a direct replacement for one of the most popular modular motorcycle helmets ever sold, the Neotec. With the Neotec II Helmet you get everything riders loved with it's predecessor refined with a few new features added. The most significant new feature is the Neotec II comes communicator ready for the Sena Shoei Rider Link (SRL) Communication System. We have a full install video for the Sena SRL and like the way it installs seamlessly in the new Shoei Modular. When SHOEI first introduced the NEOTEC in 2011, riders worldwide realized not all modular helmets were created equal. With its lightweight, highly aerodynamic shell, advanced noise reduction, and optimal vision protection, all combined with an ease of use (critical to a modular helmet), SHOEI had indeed achieved new heights in head gear design. But that was just the beginning. Now, with the NEOTEC II, SHOEI has not only improved on already outstanding features, but also introduced design advances to bring their premiere modular design into a whole new era.

Great Modular Helmet
This is my 4th Shoei helmet, first modular, and I really like this lid. My others are all full face, RF-1100, RF-1200, and X-14, which 2 were mostly for track, and very spirited rides. I chose to try modular for my daily commutes since it provides a little more airflow in traffic with chin bar up. With chin bar down, the helmet is pretty aerodynamic at high speeds, but there is more wind noise then my other full face helmets...but not to the point of being annoying. I did add the Sena comm unit specific for this model and it works pretty well and installs perfectly in this helmet. Price is pretty high for this complete setup (helmet & comm unit), but when you consider the quality and technology you are getting with this helmet, it is a pretty good value overall. Anyone looking for a great modular helmet option should consider the Shoei Neotec II
