1. sizing seems to be an issue nowadays
I have a set of Carbo 3's, near identical design to the 7's. I have worn medium Spidi's for decades with zero issues after break-in. These things are definitely smaller. My wife (which is 5'2" with average hands) can wear these gloves with just slight looseness, and about 1/4-1/2" length in the fingers. Maybe fellow 5'8" folks like myself like to feel like they're a 'large' and reduced sizing.
The gauntlet design is much better on these than the older 3's.
