Spidi Track Wind Pro Race Suit Review and Sizing Info from STG
- We feel the Spidi Track Wind Pro Race Suit runs true to size as compared to most suits on the market today. At 5' 11" 205lbs with a 33 in waist I wear a size 56 Euro / 46 US with a race fit. The cut of this suit leans to the slim side and is a bit more restrictive than the most current models. IMO Spidi has better options in their suit catalog for less. - Brian Van

Epic Feel
Thanks to Evan for the fit advice, was spot on. Suit arrived Friday and did a track day on Sunday and immediately put it to use on a minor fall. First, amazing feel and stretch. Panels of stretch material are in the right places and this suit can be tight but comfortable. Only suit that has been remotely comfortable and not crushing my berries. Just like SPIDI jackets everything about it screams deep quality. Adjustable knee armor was vital for getting just the right fit. At 6ft, 185lb, and 41.5 chest a 44 was perfect without quite being painted on, more a comfort without baggy type fit. The integral armor from SPIDI probably aided the fit. Very please and hopefully won't be scuffing it up again until I truly need it.

Protection seems weak
Suit fits great, and looks awsome. I got size 46/56, i am 6'1" 208 lbs with what im told is a "dad" body. A little sloppy in the mid section. The only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5, is because of the knee and elbow armor. They are just foam pads. Yes they are CE certified for impact, but i am skeptical as to how they will hold up if you slide long enough to wear through the leather and into the foam. My old GP Tech suit had hard plastic armor. I was very thankful for the hard shell after a low side in which my leg was trapped under the bike as i slid. Hopefully i will never have to find out if the armor is sufficient. Maybe i will fab a hard shell

Great Suit
STG recommended this suit after I purchased a Dainese suit would not fit. I am 6'2, 230lbs and the size 58EU suit fit like a glove. I had a chance to use it at the track right after I received it and it worked perfectly. I didn't feel it grab on parts of my motorcycle like my old Teknic. You do have to adjust the knee pucks a little to get them where you want but the suit is worth it. Also thanks to STG for sending the suit over night so I could have it available for the weekend. They were a great help on finding me a suit and made the whole process of returning the Dainese painless.

Not crash tested but so far its great
I don't think you can give a true suit review until you have crashed in it. With that being said I have crashed in another spidi suit I have owned more times than I want to remember, and it help up great. I am 5'9" and weigh about 150 pounds. I went with the 38/48 and it fits great with enough room for a small back protector. It did take some time to break in so if you are planning on hitting the track I suggest wearing it around some first. Now that its broken in it fits like a glove and is very comfortable. It took me some time to get the knee armor where I want it but that is not even adjustable in most suits.
