Alternate 2 line front and single line rear replacing 3 legged stock line with the center fitting. The alternate 2 line is more intuitive than I thought, assembling quickly ans easily. I don't feel a difference between steel braided and the OEM rubber lines. I did steel braided on my car as well and didn't feel a difference. I did the Speigler lines because the originals were 10 years old.
I saw a youtube where a 2 year old Z06 crashed at Summit Point because the OEM line burst. Replacing the original lines as a maintenance upgrade is not something you'll regret. The lines look great. It reduces the bulk of OEM and gives the machine a much cleaner look. The aluminum banjo bolts are so light I thought for a moment about putting the steel ones back on. After 300 miles I'm pleased with the look and function. I did translucent blue with gold fittings. You'll see the dull gold on the main page and a cool looking gold with a high sheen on another page. The real color is somewhere in between. Good, not great. I think gold anodized is a difficult color. I would buy Spiegler for another application. And, it was super getting an extra crush washer, brake fluid and brake cleaner in the price. Recommended.
