    Fantastic brake lines!

Posted by Shane on 13th Nov 2019

READ THIS - if you have a '17+ R6, you WILL have an issue with the rear banjo bolt fitment. There is a 90 degree fitting on the rear master cylinder (that's not on previous year R6's) that has a different thread pitch than what you'll get with the Spiegler system. If you want to use the OEM fitting - you'll need to ask STG to swap the included banjo bolt for one with a 1.00 thread pitch. The good news is - you can also use the included 1.25 thread pitch banjo if you remove the 90 degree fitting from the stock rear master...this is what I did and it fits fine with my Woodcraft rearsets. Better, actually, in terms of the line's routing in my opinion. All that considered - I have used Spiegler lines for years now and they're awesome. No brake fade, no issues, no complaints. I'm fairly quick around the racetrack and these guys are the best in the business. Order yours in the colors you like and enjoy!

    Rear Brake Line too long..

Posted by Laz on 30th Sep 2019

These lines are constructed very well. Seems to be an issue with it being too long for the '17 R6. Also the banjo bolt to the master doesn't fit. appears to be too big. Had to use the stock bolt.
