1. New Favorite Pads
On my 08 Ninja 650r, braking leaves a bit to be desired. I had always ran EBC HH Sintered pads, but wished they had a bit more initial bite. The RJLs are exactly that. Very similar feel to the EBCs, but much more initial bite, which I really like for street use as well. I plan on running these at the track as well, and have no doubts that they will perform.
The pads fit perfectly on my bike and do not make much noise (I deglazed the rotors with a scotchbrite pad before installing these just in case).
IMPORTANT: The manufacturer states that there is "no break in", but braking performance SUCKED on my bike for the first 20-30 street miles. SS lines, EBC Vee rotors, Fresh RBF 600 fluid, and a good bleed. Be cautious for the first few times you go riding, but then they will be amazing pads. I ended up getting the system nice and hot doing 5 back-to-back 60-0 mph stops and couldn't be happier with their performance now.
