1. Nice Sprocket
I ordered one of these to change the gearing on my sportbike. My bike is geared tall from the factory, and I wanted a little more pull off the line. So I went with a steel rear sprocket with +2 teeth. I left the front sprocket stock. My chain is still in great shape, so I did not replace it at this time. The install took me about an hour, and was very easy to do. Make sure you torque the sprocket bolts and your axle-shaft nut to the proper specs for your bike. The Vortex steel rear sprocket is very high quality. It looks great, and is precision machined. It is very heavy-duty, so it weighs slightly more than the OEM sprocket I took off the bike. This sprocket will last a long time. After test riding the bike, I was very happy with the performance gain. It worked as expected. I deducted one star for a 4/5 rating, only because this sprocket is slightly heavy. Otherwise, it would have received 5-stars.
