The Vortex Steel Rear Sprockets are made from carbon steel and are electro-plated satin black to resist corrosion. Hardened teeth ensure that the sprocket will hold up to many miles without affecting the strength of the sprocket. The street sprockets are also cupped down from the tooth ring to the body to reduce as much weight as possible.

Light weight easy to install.
Overall I love the finish on this sprocket but performance wise it meets my expectations and I notice a smoother chain and sprocket engagement

Better then the stock sprocket.
Install was easy and this looks 10 times better then the stock sprocket which is alot heavier. The old sprocket had a cage around it that made the old one look terrible which made the rear wheel hard to take off. Im sure the rear wheel will come off alot easier now.
