Note: Red spools are available only in 6mm. They are not available in the 8mm size.

Sometimes it's the little thing that make all the difference. Woodcraft Swingarm Spools have wide grooves that make locating the stand easier and raised lips on either side that give them unparalleled stability.

For racing applications the Woodcraft Swingarm Slider of choice is our solid Delrin model. The polyoxymethylene plastic offers extra protection in the case of an unfortunate crash and incorporates the secure raised edges our spools are known for.

Our Swingarm Spools also are available in a trick hard anodized aluminum finish for that factory-look. Four color choices are available to suit your bike's needs.

    Woodcraft swing-arm spools

Posted by Ray on 23rd Nov 2022

Bought these for my Kawasaki Z900 and Z650. The shape of them, provides a nice wide surface for the rear stand. Much better than the small narrow spools I had in the past.

Spend a few extra bucks and get the "slider" spools from Woodcraft. While these are attractive and probably functional as a lifting point, I doubt they would withstand much of an impact if they happened to touch down.

    Good Spools bad design

Posted by AdamS on 11th Nov 2018

The problem with these spools is the allen key bolt head stands out as far as the end of the spool. Should you go down and scrap the head off, your going to have little problem getting the bold out. My previous swingarm spools had a recessed bolt head, far better design.

8mm does the job well for 2016 CBR 1000rr SP

Posted by Ryan Meren on 7th Jun 2018

These spools are great. Not too big, but no so small that they don't feel secure on a paddock stand. The titanium color is a bit darker than the pic. The 8mm size fit my 2016 CBR 1000rr SP just fine.
