Woodcraft's new FZ10 adapter plate bolts directly to the stock handlebar mount keeping all of the stock clearances, while putting your hands in a more natural position. You now have the option to flip your 1 inch adapter plate upside down, which results in a more aggressive riding position that improves both traction and feel. This setup allows the use of multiple risers giving you the ability to custom tailor the bar height for optimum comfort.
Each plate is machined from tough billet aluminum giving your bike a custom look while making them much stronger than the stock handlebars. The handlebar tubes are kept as separate pieces allowing for inexpensive replacement in the event of a crash.
The 1 inch riser setup can be run in either the "up" or "down" position. The remaining risers should only be run in the "up" position.

Fz-10 woodcraft clip-on
This is a high quality product typical of woodcraft. I installed these in the "down" position. Clearance with the instrument panel and the foe air intakes is quite close and will require careful adjustment to make everything clear. You will have to adjust your hand position at full turn to keep them out of pinch points between the bars and the tank. It's not a big issue and after a week of riding I don't have to think about it anymore. The clutch cable has to be tied back to keep it from hitting the instrument panel. This makes adjustment difficult and adds a bit of stiction when actuating the clutch lever. I switched to a hydraulic clutch setup to allow for more routing flexibility by way of an OEM master cylinder from an FJR1300, a 48" brake line and a pull type slave cylinder (Frando 11NBL). The anti-rotation boss on the master cylinder banjo connection had to be ground off for clearance along with the boss on the bar camp that spaces the master cylinder away from the switch pod. The FZ-10 clutch switch fits on FJR1300 master cylinder. The lower bar position provides a stronger connection between rider and motorcycle making for more enjoyable "spirited" riding and lowers my head below most of the turbulence generated by my windshield making for a quieter ride.
