WoodCraft Stator Cover
I am happy with the over all look of the cover. It feels very robust when compared to the OEM cover. However, installation can be mild to moderately difficult depending on your skill level. I am not a mechanic, and I did not know that the stator coil is mounted onto the cover. Also to remover the coil from the cover, would need "star" style screw driver. Sorry, I do not remember the size of the driver. It was a little difficult to holding the cover while removing the coil screws. With some effort, I was able to break the stator screws free. After the stator coil was reinstalled onto the Woodcraft cover, I had to carefully alien the cover to the engine. Because the magnets on from the stator assembly will pull the cover in very quickly. Once installed, I lets the engine run and get up to temp. There were no oil leaks. The fairingd fit around the cover well. It did take a effort to install the cover, but I'm happy with it.

Woodcraft stator cover 2017 r6
This covers a little bit heavier than the OEM cover, but definitely worth the added weight. I also chose the stainless steel skid pad which looks very good. This does come with a new gasket. Wish i would have known that. I would recommend a impact to take the T-30 torx screws from inside the oem cover. Little chance of stripping the heads with the impact. If you don’t want to change the stater someone cover to another on the bike and would rather do it on the workbench. You will need to take the hard radiator hose off in the elbow to go to the thermostat off to get the connector to pass through the motor, and frame. So you might want to grab some coolant if you’re going to do that option.
