Love yoshi with there exhaust slip on's. This is my second slip on first was on my cbr 600rr, and this one on my cbr 1000rr. I get compliments everywhere I go from sound to looks.

    WOW!

Ok so for what everyone may want to hear. The sound on this exhaust is amazing with and without the Insert in place. If you want to be heard and don't care what the neighbors think and say and want the bike to rumble keep the insert out. If you want... What am I saying who cares! Insert out and the Bike sounds so amazing!! It has a nice deep growl and rumbles so well while at idle. When you get on it just screams with pleasure for ripping that throttle back. Performance on the bike goes way up and this is only the slip on makes me wonder what the full sounds and feels like. The throttle response is better, idle is smoother, and it gives a good deal of power. The power that it gives you along with the weight loss is astounding with the considering its not a full system. The build quality was very nice and beautiful. The can is clean and well built and the piping is nicely polished. The welds are nice and the springs have the Yoshimura symbols on them for a finishing touch. The heat shield had gold lettering and looks very well made. Install was straight forward and easy till I got to the heat shield I could not get it to line up correctly and enough to how it looks like in the pictures. The screw holes would just not line up to save my life. I did get it to a point that it sat nicely enough and so far no one could tell that it was off. Regardless I docked it a star for that reason. I still wonder if it was just me probably was but possibly it was a design flaw maybe others will have better luck. To finish the exhaust sounds amazing and the install was for the most part easy. The benefits of this exhaust are immediate. With this exhaust came a spring pulling tool so don't fret if you don't have one. Along with this exhaust I bought the servo eliminator hardware that plugged right in a prevented a code from popping so I highly recommend that. Then get a power commander the bike ran smoother than before but with the bike mapped out it ran even better and smoother then it did in earlier paragraph.
